Dr. Scott Woogen is a board certified gastroenterologist practicing for over 40 years! He attended medical school at New York School of Medicine and went on to complete both his residency and fellowship in gastroenterology at the Medical College of Virginia. 

“My philosophy is to never stop learning and never stop asking questions. I believe that makes better physicians. Part of what makes my job so rewarding and enjoyable is the diverse areas of Gastroenterology which allows for continuing study and discovery; no matter how many years I’ve been practicing.”

In his free time, Dr. Woogen is a long-time horse owner, breeder, and harness racing driver. He also enjoys golf and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
