Dear Patient,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing with mixed feelings to inform you that effective February 28th, 2025 I am closing my practice due to my upcoming retirement. I plan to continue to be available, on a limited basis, until that date.  It has been my pleasure to serve the Greater Richmond community for over 30 years, and caring for you, my patients, has been extremely rewarding.

Please arrange to have another physician take over your GI care as soon as possible. If you are not acquainted with a physician, you may use your insurance company’s provider directory or referral service. Once you have identified a physician or practice, please contact my office by February 21st to initiate transfer of your medical record.  

I have valued our relationship greatly. Thank you for your loyalty, trust, and friendship over the years.
